Mr Matthew Beard; BSc (Hons), BAppSc, Grad Cert, MSc. is a Physiotherapist at Wakefield House. After graduating from the South Australian Institute of Technology in 1989, he spent the first 10 years of practice in a variety of inpatient hospital and rehabilitation roles. Since then he has  completed several post graduate qualifications at the University of South Australia with a clinical interest in rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and various spinal disorders. Currently he splits his time between private practice and a public hospital role as the Lead Physiotherapist, Spinal Assessment Clinic. Matthew is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and an affiliate of the International Centre of Allied Health Evidence.
